- Severe burns (thermal, chemical, electrical)
- Traumatic brain injuries
- Spinal cord injuries
- Multiple trauma
- Toxic chemical exposures
All referrals for catastrophic case management go through a single point of contact, which can be accessed via a toll free number, email, fax, or cell phone for after-hours injuries. This ensures that all cases are assigned to the most appropriate case manager and responded to in a timely manner. Our catastrophic case management adheres to the following protocols:
- 24 hours-Initial contacts made to:
- Client/family
- MD/facility
- Employer
- Account
- 24 to 48 hours: On-site visits to the above parties completed
- 72 hours: Telephonic update to account
- 5 business days
- Comprehensive initial report submitted to supervisor
- 7 business days
- Comprehensive initial report submitted to account
