JND Healthcare Management’s Triage nurse case management program offers early intervention into the claims process. Early intervention has a positive impact on the injured employee’s experience, the appropriateness of the medical plan of care, a timely return to work and decreased overall claim payment exposure. JND Healthcare offers case management services at the inception of the injury with identification of those claimants that have greater exposure potential and, in conjunction with other team members, develop a plan of action.

Medical Triage completed by a JND Healthcare certified Nurse Case Manager provides our clients with the initial assessment and medical documentation required.

This may include the anticipated medical condition, its relationship to the cause of injury, and the anticipated medical treatment based on expected treatment parameter. If the situation is compensable, we will make recommendations focused on achieving cost-effective and maximum medical improvement and early return to work.

This initial “assessment” of the claim provides our clients with valuable information that assists in sound decision making in regard to claim compensability and initial treatment parameters.
